A small village 17 km from El Paraiso.
The kindergarten has only one room, which is attended daily by 18 children aged 2 to 6.
Very often, the issue is that young children need a warm meal during the day. This wasn’t possible as there was no space for meal preparation.
Construction of a room at Candida Rosa Kindergarten began in March, led by teacher Xiomara. This additional room will be used by the mothers as a kitchen to prepare meals for the children.
We always strive to improve the conditions for the children. A kindergarten with meal services also helps families keep their children there longer while parents go to work.
For this small village of 600 residents, the construction was also a financial boost for the workers who built the classroom.
Certainly, the children will now be happier attending kindergarten, knowing they can have meals on-site during the day.
